Atlanta Woman Charged with Simple Battery Wins at Trial
March 22, 2016
A woman was charged in Miami for defending herself from an aggressive panhandler in front of the Miami State Attorney's Office. Our client exited her vehicle after being struck by an alleged ex-U.S. military serviceman.
Our Miami criminal attorneys were able to prove that the alleged victim was not a veteran and convinced a Miami jury that our client committed the battery in self-defense. In less than 10 minutes, the Miami jury agreed with the Miami criminal lawyer from DMT and our client went back to Atlanta with an acquittal.
